Plastisol Ink: Standard Opacity Excalibur 500

by Lancer Screen Inks

Phthalate and Heavy Metal Free - The only choice for high production screen-printing

Lancer inks are leading the way in producing a range of plastisol inks that are truly safe for both the screen printer and the end user. Rather than simply complying with legislation, Lancer inks are actively seeking new ways to improve their inks ahead of time.

Excalibur 500 PF Series - Direct Print; Wet-on-Wet

If you hate the build-up of ink on the back of your screen, you will love the Excalibur 500 PF series of plastisol ink. All the colours in the range have been specifically formulated to minimise the build-up of ink during a print run, making it the ideal solution for wet-on-wet direct printing.

Ideal for Screen Printing onto Cotton

If your requirement is for high production screen printing directly onto 100% cotton products, Excalibur 500 PF Series is your ideal partner. It is a standard opacity ink and therefore best suited to printing onto white or light coloured products, but can also be used with an underbase onto dark colours.

If you are looking for high opacity plastisol ink that can be used without the need for an underbase, please consider the Excalibur 550 PF series.

Available Colours

Navy Blue, Bright Orange, Kelly Green, Rhodamine Red, Bright Scarlet, Crimson Red, Silver Grey, Bright Royal, Black.

We will be expanding the range of available ink colours in due course. If you have any specific requests, please get in touch.

Versatile Plastisol Ink: Technical Information

Use the Excalibur 500 PF series to produce cold peel transfers or add one of the available special effects to create a suede-effect, add a puff effect etc. This range is suitable for use with 43 - 122 T /cm (110 - 305 per inch) mesh. We suggest the use of a 70-durometer squeegee or a 90/70/90 triple durometer blade.

The ink surface will gel at 116 ° C (240 ° F). Full cure will happen when the entire ink film reaches 160 ° C (320 ° F) for at least 15 seconds.

Whether you are choosing an ink system for the first time or contemplating changing from another brand, we know it is a big decision. This is why we offer sample quantities of our inks to help you decide whether Excalibur ink is for you. While we do not sample individual colours, you can order a sample in white. If you do experience any difficulties or have questions, please contact us for support. We want you to enjoy using our products.
